*sometimes you just need to love.*

what a weekend!

so friday morning i got a haircut and made an appointment to get my color done. then i worked from noon to 8. after work, steve and i headed to dayton to hang out with my friend melissa and her BF, luke. i finally got to check out her super cute apartment and see dayton, which ive never been to before. we hung out at her place a bit and had a couple drinks and then we went to this bar/club downtown called The Pearl. its set up inside and old diner and its a pretty cool place. the drinks were Strong, my bartender was hott, and the music was good. my bartender was wearing the shortest skirt and these awesome garters, and had long curly dark hari. man was she hott. i tried to get a picture at the end of the nite, but got frustrated by something else and gave up. she kept making me Very Special MaiTai's too, so that was awesome. maybe it was cause im a good tipper, but i prefer to think it was cause she thought i was cute. hahaha.

so we danced and drank and i made friends with these two guys dancing near us. they were cute little emo boys who had no business being in that club seeing as it was mostly hip-hop remixes and stuff being played. but they were nice and kept me entertained when i wasnt busy dancing or laughing at melissa. ;]

after we left, luke and steve were pretty drunk and i was starving so we headed to wendys for burgers and fries. luke crashed out pretty quick so we all went to bed. i woke up bright and early 4 hours later at 7:30 ready to start my day. too bad no one else wanted to get up. sillies. so i tried to catch some more z's until 9 or so when i couldnt stand it anymore. so i got up and got ready to go while i waited for steve to wake up and get going. we left a little before 11 and got back here just before noon. lucky me i got to then head into work from 2 until 12:30 last nite.

i kinda wanted to go out last nite, but SOMEONE *cough* CARRIE *cough* never called me back cause shes a punk. just kidding. so instead i came back home and crashed out till 10:30 when the phone woke me up. thanks nick. i love wake up calls. hahahaha.

spent today with surfing the net, waiting on nick to get here, then out to lunch with him and his friends and then took him to the airport. now im going to eat dinner and make some more CD's and hopefully watch a bit of the oscars!
