i hate myself sometimes. i managed to contract HPV. [who knows how though because both of the men i slept with prior to being diagnosed with it have now been tested and are clean, so what gives?] so that was all 6 months ago. i had a pap smear, tests back, HPV. which lead to a colcoscopy [sp?], basically a biopsy, which wasnt very fun. after the tests came back for that, i was scheduled a return pap smear for 3 months later.
so 2 weeks ago i went in for my 3 month pap smear, and today i got the results. the HPV is still there and in the same "situation" that it was in 6 months ago. which means it hasnt progressed [good] but that the doc didnt get it with the first biopsy [bad]. so a week from today i go in for another biopsy [not fun at all. think pain, and bleeding, and blood clots so large you feel faint and cant really do much about it.]
and if this doesnt "work" or if they see something more on the testing of this biopsy, then ill have to spend a day at the hospital to have surgery. really. that sounds like so much fun. i really cant wait.
kids. use condoms. i know we all hate them. but really. this sucks a lot more.
