why do you read and read and read, and yet never speak?

i'm still having a hard time getting through my reading without falling asleep. whoever said that "the book really picks up quickly" was crazy. oh wait. i'm only on page 3. but isn't that fairly sad when you fall asleep reading a book and you're only on page 3?!?

i sure hope it picks up soon. i have 400 more pages to read by next friday. eek.
