*sometimes you just need to love.*

how our trip went...

so this entry is the "what happened on spring break" entry. so just go with it.

saturday, march 17th: we got up early. went to the airport in columbus, waited around for an extra hour. then boarded our very late plane to chicago. got to chicago with 15 minutes to spare before our connecting flight left. ran through O'hare. yuck. ended up not needing to run because that plane decided to leave an hour and a half late. i was irate. they were ruining all my carefully laid plans. got to san diego finally. had some yummy mexican food with my cousins then went to my grandma and grandpas for a homecooked meal. yummy again. and a wonderful danish layer cake with 21 candles just for me. wheeeeeee!!! then crashed at my aunt's cause we were too tired and too lame to actually go out and celebrate my 21st.

sunday, march 18th: my 21st birthday arrives. we spent the day lounging and sightseeing along the coast of san diego. the weather was absolutely beautiful that day so we decided to go to mission beach, coronado, la jolla (we ate at the hard rock cafe for lunch) and then to seaport village. a nice day. then we headed to my cousins in carlsbad for dinner and to stay the nite.

monday, march 19th: got up early and drove up interstate 5 all the way to south san francisco to our hotel. then we headed up to san francisco to go to ghiradelli square for dinner.

tuesday, march 20th: got up early and went down to pier 39 for breakfast at Johnny Rockets. after breakfast we headed over to pick up or tickets for our alcatraz tour and then boarded. it was a wonderful tour and i highly suggest it to anyone who ever visits SF. we ate lunch at The Crab House for lunch and it was expensive ($37) but really really good crab. we shopped around pier 39 for awhile and then drove down Lombard St which is the curviest road in the world. then we went across the golden gate bridge and then down highway 1 along the coast to monterey to our hotel for the nite.

wednesday, march 21st: got up early again and drove down highway 1 along the coast until we got to santa barbara and and then took 101 over to 5 and down through LA back home to san diego. got home around 6 pm and then went out with my cousin ann and her boyfriend for some really good frozen yoghurt. yummy.

thursday, march 22nd: went to horton plaza to do some final shopping in the morning and then spent the afternoon at the san diego zoo. it was so nice. then we just chilled at my aunt's house for the evening packing and stuff.

friday, march 23rd: flew home. only one of our planes was late this time and it was the one from chicago to columbus and only by 15 minutes.

and now i wish i was back cause its freezing to death here and it was so sunny and warm in cali.

ill put in an update about other random stuff later tonite kiddies.
